STEP 1 - Catchment

Establish the potential rainfall and intended
catchment area

First of all we need to determine how many litres of rainwater you could potentially catch in your own circumstances.

There is two main factors that influence this figure. First is the average rainfall of the area you are located in and secondly the size of the catchment area you intend to harvest rainwater from (eg. house or shed roof)

STEP 2 - Useage

Determine your average water useage

Next up we need to figure out the amount of water you will use on average in your situation.

The amount of people you have on your property, area of gardens & lawns or any animals you have can all affect this result
